RDF Media Group establishes UK Content board

RDF Media Group today announced a new content board for its UK production division comprising senior executives responsible for the Group’s largest content companies.
Grant Mansfield, Managing Director RDF Television, becomes Chairman of RDF Content and is joined on the board by Nigel Pickard, Director of Family Entertainment for the Group, Hamish Barbour, Creative Director at IWC Media, Rob Pursey, Managing Director of Touchpaper Television and Colin Gilbert, joint Managing Director for The Comedy Unit.
RDF Television, one of the Group’s production companies, also announces new roles for its key creatives today. Peter Usher becomes RDF Television’s Head of Entertainment, responsible for growing an entertainment slate which already includes The Great Pretender, Star Traders: The Christmas Challenge and Don’t Forget the Lyrics. Clelia Mountford becomes RDF Television’s first Head of Comedy. Clelia has recently overseen an adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s novel Octavia (Touchpaper Television for ITV1). Tayte Simpson becomes RDF Television’s Head of Factual Entertainment overseeing a well-established portfolio of programmes including The Secret Millionaire and Wife Swap.
In Bristol, Mark Hill becomes Head of RDF Television West, responsible for all programmes from the highly successful regional production base (Dickinson’s Real Deal, Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks).
