ABC and RDF USA Dance together again
08 November, 2007

ABC has ordered five episodes of RDF USA’s original format Dance Machine.

The show, a reality dance competition with real people not professionals, is currently being cast and will begin shooting in January.

“This is our third project with ABC this year, and it’s our first original, homegrown format with the network,” says Greg Goldman, Executive Vice President of Development for RDF USA. “We're thrilled to be teaming with Stephen McPherson, John Saade, Vicki Dummer and the ABC team to create this big and exciting show.”

“Ordinary people, extraordinary circumstances and a whole lot of money on the line,” said Chris Coelen, CEO of RDF USA. “The show embodies everything a large, network format should.”

Goldman created the show. Coelen and Goldman as well as Brian A. Veskosky of Metro Entertainment will serve as executive producers.

Previously, RDF USA produced Shaq’s Big Challenge with ABC, and the fourth season of RDF’s hit show Wife Swap is scheduled to premiere this January on the network as well.
