IWC Media (IWC), part of the RDF Media Group, one of Scotland’s leading independent television companies, is pleased to announce the creation of its new Commercials and Branded Content Division. The new Glasgow-based division will be headed by David Reilly.

IWC’s new division will work with a variety of media, advertising agencies, brand owners and UK broadcasters to develop high-end TV commercials and branded content programming, and aims to be in production early next year.

David Reilly, Head of Commercials and Branded Content, IWC said:

‘I’m delighted to be joining IWC and driving forward such a major expansion in Scotland and I’m looking forward to building the Group’s commercial output.’

IWC, the company behind recent successes such as Mountain (BBC One), Robbie Coltrane’s B-Road Britain (ITV1), Location Location Location (Channel 4), and Crimes That Shook the World (Discovery UK) welcomes David from SMG Solutions where he has been Managing Director.

David worked across all areas of production whilst at SMG, he has worked closely with Setanta covering their Scottish football output over the past three years and also launched Lucid, a subsidiary of SMG Solutions to specialise in commercial production. Prior to SMG, David was Director of Creative Industries at Scottish Enterprise.

David will be based out of IWC’s Head Office in Glasgow and will report to Managing Director Sue Oriel and Creative Director Hamish Barbour.
