RDF Media Group launches RDF Digital

RDF Media Group, a leading UK independent television production and distribution company, today announces the launch of RDF Digital, a new division established to focus on the creation of video content for distribution over the internet. The division will work closely with members of RDF’s multi-genre development and production teams to service the demand for entertaining video content from a wide variety of new clients.

Zad Rogers, a founder of IWC Media, is taking up the newly formed role of Creative Director, RDF Digital. Zad was the originator of the Channel 4 hit Location Location Location which is now in its eighth series, as well as a large number of other high profile productions for UK terrestrial and satellite broadcasters.

Whilst at IWC Zad Rogers was also responsible for the production of 4Car, the Channel 4 specialist automotive review and information site. IWC Media was acquired by RDF Media Group in December 2005.

Zad Rogers commented:

"Video content is finding its way onto the web at an unprecedented rate due to advances in technology and quicker, more widespread broadband connections in the UK. We believe that RDF, with its track record as a producer of innovative popular programming is in fantastic position to serve the needs of a range of potential customers in this fast moving new market."

Jonny Slow, RDF's Corporate Development Director, will work alongside Zad Rogers and the RDF Digital team to identify and execute the opportunities that bring together proven TV production skills with the interactive advantages of broadcasting over internet.
