ITV1 re-commissions RDF's hit format Holiday Showdown

Holiday Showdown is the programme which matches up two very different families with completely opposing ideas of what makes a good holiday and sends them away together for two weeks.
ITV1's Controller of Factual Programming, Bridget Boseley, has commissioned a third series of 6 x 60 to air next spring.
Its current second series is just over half-way through its run and has consistently won its timeslot week-on-week, bringing in over 6 million viewers.
Holiday Showdown has now sold in over ten countries with local formats being produced in Italy, Denmark and France. A deal with BBC America has just been confirmed for series one and two.
