Grant Mansfield joins
29th October 2002

Grant Mansfield, one of the UK's most experienced television production executives, will be joining RDF as Creative Director at the end of November.

Mansfield comes to the company after two-and-a-half years as Director of Programmes for Granada Content (South) where he was responsible for a programme division that spanned factual, entertainment and drama. Key shows overseen by Mansfield include I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Airline, Tonight With Trevor McDonald and Jonathan Dimbleby as well as drama titles The Forsythe Saga, Cold Feet, Where the Heart Is and the forthcoming Zhivago.

Prior to working at Granada, Mansfield has worked as Controller of Documentaries, Features & Arts at the ITV Network Centre, and as Managing Editor of the Television Features department at BBC Bristol where he was responsible for a wide variety of BBC One shows including Antiques Roadshow, 999, and some of the country's most popular narrative documentary series including Driving School, Vets School and Holiday Reps.

At RDF Mansfield will become a key member of the senior editorial team with responsibility for helping to ensure the company's continued growth across all genres. Reporting to Director of Programmes Stephen Lambert, he will work with the existing executive producer team and be involved in the origination, pitching and management of a wide range of programmes to all UK broadcasters.
