RDF Content
RDF Content is the holding group for the content creating businesses. It consists of IWC Media, Presentable, Radar, RDF Television, RDF USA, Touchpaper Television and The Comedy Unit.

The Foundation TV Productions
The Foundation is a leading producer of children’s television based at The Maidstone Studios, Kent and was established by Vanessa Hill and Ged Allen in 1994. The Foundation has an expertise in pre-school, drama, comedy, factual and family entertainment and has produced content for a variety of broadcasters. Shows include the BAFTA nominated programmes: Ministry of Mayhem, Globo Loco, You Can Do Magic and Brilliant Creatures. Other shows include The Basil Brush Show, Eureka TV, Holly and Stephen’s Saturday Showdown, Let’s Roll, Finders Keepers, Tricky TV and Finger Tips (which also won the Prix Jeunesse).

IWC Media
Picture from 'Location, Location, Location'IWC Media is Scotland’s largest independent television production company. It has offices in Glasgow and London. The company was formed in May 2004 as a result of the merger of Wark Clements and Ideal World Productions. It became part of the RDF Media Group in December 2005. IWC Media produces factual, factual entertainment and drama programmes. Key programmes include Channel 4’s long-running property series Location, Location, Location and Relocation, Relocation; ITV1 drama serial Fallen Angel; Mountains with Griff Rhys Jones for BBC1; Mission Implausible for Sky One; and Crimes That Shook The World and Mean Machines for Discovery UK.

Presentable
Picture from 'Late Night Poker'Presentable is one of the largest independent production companies in Wales. It is based in Cardiff. It was established in 1993 and has a reputation for imaginative, high-quality entertainment, music, comedy, arts, history, features and documentary programmes. It is best known for its expertise in producing poker programmes, making several poker series for UK broadcasters including Channel 4 and ITV. Presentable became part of the RDF Media Group in April 2006.

Radar
Radar has a strong reputation for producing original entertainment and factual entertainment programmes. It is based in central London and was established in 2002. It became part of the RDF Media Group in December 2005. Key shows include Christian O’Connell’s Sunday Service for Sky One and the award-winning Banzai for E4.

RDF Television
Picture from 'Faking It Drag Queen'RDF Television is the largest production company in the RDF Media Group. It has offices in West London and Bristol. It was founded in 1993 and has established an outstanding reputation for producing popular and innovative programmes across a wide range of genres. Key shows include the multi-BAFTA-winning Wife Swap and Faking It for Channel 4; Holiday Showdown and Ladette to Lady for ITV1; the long-running Scrapheap Challenge and Shipwrecked for Channel 4; Anthea Turner: Perfect Housewife for BBC3; and How To Be A Property Developer for Channel Five.

RDF USA
RDF USA is the RDF Group’s American operation with large offices in Los Angeles and New York City. RDF USA is led by Chris Coelen, CEO, a former partner at United Talent Agency who ran the international and alternative television packaging divisions. Since its launch, RDF USA has sold and/or produced series such as Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Fox), Wife Swap (ABC), How to Look Good Naked (Lifetime), Dance Machine (ABC), The Two Coreys (A&E), Coolio and the Gang (Oxygen), Shaq’s Big Challenge (ABC), and Ice-T’s Rap School (VH-1).

Touchpaper Television is an independent drama production company founded in 2001 which became part of the RDF Media Group in August 2005. Recent programes include the BAFTA-nominated The Queen’s Sister for Channel 4; the Robson Green series Rocket Man for BBC1; The Best Man for ITV1; and NY-LON for Channel 4.

The Comedy Unit
The Comedy Unit was founded in 1996 and have a reputation for producing quality returning series. The company is based in Glasgow and from here they specialise in a range of comedy and entertainment shows as well as producing around 40 hours of material for radio each year with shows such as Watson’s Wind Up for Radio Scotland and Keep Taking the Nandralone for Radio Five Live. The company boasts a large pool of accomplished in house writers, directors, producers and script editors. Recent successes have included Still Game for BBC 2, and The Karen Dunbar Show for BBC Scotland. The Comedy Unit became part of the RDF Media Group in August 2006.

RDF Rights & Management
RDF Rights & Management is the holding group for the rights exploitation and talent management businesses. It consists of Pangea Management, RDF Management, and RDF Rights.

Pangea Management Group
Formed in 2006 and led by Chris Coelen, CEO of RDF USA, Pangea Management Group is both a management and production entity that handles intellectual property rights and specializes in the production of scripted entertainment. Pangea also oversees careers in all media, including licensing and merchandising. Recently, Pangea entered into a partnership with Bravo Media to guide the careers of several of the network’s stars. Since its launch, Pangea has sold and/or produced series such as How to Look Good Naked (Lifetime), Mind Control with Derren Brown (Sci-Fi), Meadowlands (Showtime), Star Stories (VH1), Peep Show (Spike), and Mistresses (Lifetime).

RDF Management
RDF Management is a talent agency based in West London that represents some of the best British actors, writers, presenters and stand-up comedians. It was launched in 2002.

RDF Rights
RDF Rights is one of the UK’s fastest-growing international distribution companies benefiting greatly from the recent regulatory changes in the UK that have given independent producers the right to work with their distributor of choice. Established in 1996, RDFR sells more than 3,000 hours of high quality factual, factual entertainment, light entertainment, crime and reality progranmmes and formats to broadcasters throughout the world. It also has a consumer products division that licences IP on behalf of RDFR’s clients. Current clients include US cable companies Spike TV, Court TV, and Lifetime TV, as well as BBC Production and more than fifty independent UK producers.
