Grant Mansfield | Group Director, Factual, Entertainment and Comedy Grant Mansfield | Group Director, Factual, Entertainment and Comedy. CEO, RDF USA
Grant joined RDF as Managing Director of RDF Television in 2002 from Granada where he was Director of Programmes and oversaw shows such as Cold Feet and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Before this, he spent 18 years at the BBC working in Documentaries and Features and executive produced hits such as Driving School.

Nigel Pickard | Group Director, Children’s, Family Entertainment and Drama Nigel Pickard | Group Director, Family Entertainment and Drama
Ex Director of Programmes at ITV, founder of the CBeebies and CBBC Channels and former Head of Children’s commissioning at ITV, Nigel is one of the most well-known and respected people in children’s programming and joined RDF as Director of Family Entertainment, in March 2006.

Hamish Barbour | Group Director, RDF Scotland Hamish Barbour | Group Director, RDF Scotland
Hamish started his TV career at BBC Scotland before heading South to direct for Channel 4’s The Word. He returned to Glasgow as Creative Director of Muriel Gray’s company, Gallus Besom, overseeing its transition into Ideal World, Broadcast’s Best Indie in 2003. Hamish’s extensive list of executive credits most recently include Mountain with Griff Rhys Jones, Robbie Coltrane’s B Road Britain and JK Rowling: A year in the life.

Cathy joined RDF as a researcher in 1995. By 1998 Cathy had created and was presenting Scrapheap Challenge, RDF’s first returning series for Channel 4. Scrapheap’s US spin-off Junkyard Wars took Cathy to Los Angeles and between 2001 and 2004 she headed up RDF’s office there. Cathy rejoined RDF as Creative Director in 2009.

Mark joined RDF from Channel 4 Business Affairs in October 2003. Prior to Channel 4 he qualified as a solicitor with Olswangs and then worked for Butterworths Publishing. Mark is responsible for overseeing all aspects of legal and business affairs for the RDF Media Group.

Julie Hirsch | Group Director of Human Resources Julie Hirsch | Group Director of Human Resources
Julie joined RDF in January 2004 following a period of extended maternity leave and freelance consultancy. Prior to that, she was the HR Vice President in Europe for Turner Broadcasting. Before joining Turner, she worked as an HR Manager at the BBC and TV-am. Julie is responsible for overseeing Human Resources issues for the RDF Media Group.

Alice Robertson | Group Head of Marketing and Publicity Alice Robertson | Group Head of Marketing and Publicity
Alice joined RDF Media Group in 2003 with responsibility for all press and marketing activities on both corporate, trade and programme specific levels across the seven content production companies and worldwide rights distribution businesses. Prior to this she worked in marketing & brand exploitation roles in the independent production sector and at Granada Wild.

Pamela Lovelock | Corporate Finance Director Pamela Lovelock | Corporate Finance Director
Pamela joined RDF in November 2009 as Corporate Finance Director to evaluate and implement acquisitions and funding solutions for the Group. She qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in South Africa and, prior to RDF, spent her career in corporate and structured finance, working for five years at Absa Capital (the South African investment bank controlled by Barclays) and in the UK for the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Brian Watson | Group IT Director Brian Watson | Group IT Director
Brian joined RDF in August 2001 from Endemol UK where he spent seven years as head of IT. Brian is responsible for overseeing technology strategies across the RDF Media Group.
